Launch of Travel’AIR book & three exhibitions in Brussels on Oct 4-6

October 4-6 will be busy days for me in Brussels. I will be launching my new book “Travel’AIR”, along with three exhibitions.

October 4 at 11:30 AM –  Opening of the first Travel’AIR exhibition ar EUROCONTROL, European agency for air traffic safety. Unfortunately, the privileged visitors will be a few thousands of people working in the agency, and also those from the aviation business. In the afternoon I will give two brief workshops of photography at Eurocontrol.

October 5 d.  from 6 to 8 PM Fotofever VIP visit to the “Portrait of Kražiai” exhibition at the collection of Mr François Huet. In 2013 only, “Portrait of Kražiai” was shown at Nuit de la Photo in LA Chaux-de-Fonds in Switzerland, festivals in Dol-de-Bretagne and Nimes in France, B&B gallery in Bielsko Biala, Poland and in the group exihibition of Lithuanian photography “Dialogue of Generations”, produced by Kaunas Photography gallery and shown at the National Museum of Georgia (Tbilisi) and the Armenian National Gallery in Yerevan.

From October 4 to 6 – at Fotofever art fair (Tour & Taxis, Brussels) I will also present my newest series – “Travel’AIR” and “Rural + Urban Markets”, a collaboration with the Lithuanian classic photographer, Aleksandras Macijauskas.

October 6 at 1 PM at the Foto fever Foto Talk area, myself and the discoverer of the Travel’AIR work, Mr. François Huet will present the “Travel’AIR” book, which was born out of the collaboration with Eurocontrol and was published by VšĮ Šviesos raštas (Kaunas, Lithuania).

In 2012, the LeJournaldelaPhotographie portal nominated “Travel’AIR” for the title of the portfolio of the year.
The book will be available at the Fotofever stand P7 of KAUNAS PHOTO festival.
