“I saw your work in Venice biennale”. My work?..

Mindaugas Kavaliauskas. AUTO -Portraits & -Landscapes. Jurgilas family and their car. Kražiai, Lithuania 2009. Picture exhibited in Venice Biennale, Lithuanian pavillion, called "Behind the White Curtain", 2011.
Today I got a message, saying “Labas mindaugai! I saw one of your photos in Venice yesterday at the modern Lithuanian art exhibition “behind the white curtain”. Cheers.”
Interesting. I only once have shown this image outside Lithuania, and that was in a small improvised exhibition “Portrait of Kraziai” at the Melbourne Lithuanian Club, Australia in 2009, a month after this picture was taken. A guy has a real good memory!

Biennale of Venica. Lithuanian exhibition "Behind the White Curtain", curated by Darius Mikšys. At far right, there is my work :) Photo courtesy of Darius Miksys.
So actually I can say that “I was in the Biennale of Venice”.
In fact I wan’t, just one work of mine.
But extremely nice to hear that someone has looked at it, seen it, or even appreciated it !
