My new project “Life unseen. On the intersection”
This year my major project is depicting life on the intersection of Savanorių and Taikos streets in Kaunas. This place by locals is simply called “near the blind people”, but for most inhabitants of Kaunas, it is simply one of the busiest traffic intersections in town.
In early spring I went out for contact building and socialization with the community of blind and weakly seeing people, while April and May marked the beginning of real photographic research of the community of people with white sticks, which for us, those who rush through the most intense intersection of the city, is virtually unseen.
In summer, most of my pics of the day will be images from this project.
