Airport is no place for pigs. This view in Moscow Sheremetyevo (SVO) states that it is not for cows either. My flight to China in 2008 had a 10 hour stop-over at SVO . The terminal did not seem different from the one I visited in the very late 1980s, where people would sleep on the floor. With just just a few seats available throughout the terminal, the airport spaces would become avenues for passengers circling the building for eventual “parking” spaces to sit. Otherwise they’d sit, lay down on the floor, maybe see some tax free shops. Those who’d afford would end up in lodges, where free vodka is included. Hopefully, the reconstruction works that were around brought some comfort options for travelers from and via Moscow’s main international airport.<\/p>\n
